Jingyuan Nan

Jingyuan Nan is an intellectual property attorney who focuses on the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and international patent applications across a broad spectrum of software and technology sectors. She counsels clients from global technology companies to early-stage startups, on strategic portfolio development, product protection, and freedom-to-operate matters. 

Previous Work

Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Jingyuan built a diverse IP practice advising technology companies and startups on patent portfolio development, product protection, and patent pursuit strategies across sectors including AI, telecommunications, e-commerce, and medical devices. Her prior experience also encompasses IP cross-border licensing, due diligence for corporate mergers and acquisitions, data privacy counseling, and regulatory compliance counseling related to game publishing in China. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Chief Judge Randall R. Rader (ret.) of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, gaining direct exposure to patent law at the appellate level.
