Jacob first joined ArentFox Schiff as a summer associate in 2024, beginning the path to his current practice in complex class action litigation and trade secrets matters—work that calls on the same adaptability, quick learning, and composure under pressure he developed throughout his varied professional background.

Previous Work

Before joining ArentFox Schiff, Jacob deliberately pursued roles that placed him in unfamiliar and demanding environments. As an extern with the Orleans Public Defenders, he confronted high-pressure public defense work; in Robert Bosch LLC’s international trade department, where he interned in-house, he navigated the complexity of cross-border regulation; and through Washington University’s Post-Conviction Clinic, he developed the patience and analytical discipline required to revisit difficult cases. He served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mozambique in the Public Health field, adapting to a new culture and resource-constrained setting. Each experience sharpened his ability to learn quickly, adjust his approach, and remain effective amid uncertainty—qualities that make him well-suited for demanding litigation.

Life Beyond the Law

Outside of work, Jacob enjoys The New Yorker Crossword puzzles, supporting Brighton Soccer, as well as the New Orleans Saints Football team.
